We're passionate about serving writers.
Literistic was originally founded by Liam Sarsfield and Jessie Jones all the way back in what feels like a previous age—their very first Literistic lists were compiled in 2015 and sent out to the intrepid writers who joined that year.
Since then, the list has only grown to be more robust, more equitable, and more useful with every year that passes. Now the newsletter is run by Josh and Tommy—two authors whose professional lives are wrapped up in the mad literary enterprise of writing and submitting and sharing resources with community. We work hard to bring you what we consider the very best opportunities available each month. Contests to cut your teeth on. Fellowships to give you that extra support and room of your own. Journals to bring your lovely words into the world. And more. There's always more, and you can bet we'll find the best new opportunities and share them with you each and every month.
Our newsletter goes out on the 1st of every month, 12 months a year, with opportunities for fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction authors. We also provide a function to easily add deadlines from our newsletter to your own personal calendar, so you'll never miss that favorite contest again.
You can contact us with any questions at help (at) literistic (dot) com.
